The 13th edition of the Windermere Theatre Festival was held just before the pandemic gripped the entire world in its clutches. It featured six plays including the one titled ‘Miss Gulab Jaan’ by Dr. Brijeshwar Singh’s repertory Rang Vinayak Rang Mandal.

Amli, written by Rishikesh Sulabh and directed by Sushil Sharma was the first show of the festival. It was presented by Rang Visharad Natya Sangh. It was followed by Jhalkari, written by Punarvasu Malviya and directed by Neha Singh. The play was performed by Rahi Theatre Company. Tansen, directed by Sudhir Rikhari was the next show of the festival. It was performed by Trilogue Company. It was followed by Notes on Chai, directed by Jyoti Dogra from New Delhi. Babu Ji, written by Mithileshwar, dramatized by Vibhanshu Vaibhav and directed by Rajesh Singh. It was presented by Flying Feathers Art Association. The festival culminated with Miss Gulab Jaan, written by Deepti Priya, dramatized by Asif Ali and directed by Randhir Kumar. It was performed by Dr. Brijeshwar Singh’s repertory Rang Vinayak Rang Mandal, Bareilly.
