The sixth edition featured 13 wonderful plays performed by repertories from across the county. Dr. Brijeshwar Singh’s repertory Rang Vinayak Rang Mandal staged Rabindra Nath Tagore’s ‘The Postman’. The play was directed by Pravin Shekhar.

Jagdamba, directed by Pratima Kulkarni and performed by Avishkar Group, Mumbai was the first show of the festival. It was followed by Afterlife of Birds, directed by Abhishek Majumdar and performed by The Ensemble, Bengaluru. Narial Paani, directed by Sandeep Shikhar and performedby Our Theatre Group, Bengaluru was the third play of the festival. Bolti Deewarein, directed by Sameep Singh and performed by Sriram Centre Repertory Company, New Delhi was the next show. It was followed by Hamara Shahar Us Baras, directed by Kirti Jain and performed by artists from NSD Repertory Company, New Delhi.

The festival went on to delight the audience with the next play Patni Ka Patra, directed by Geeta Guha and performed by NSD Alumni, New Delhi.

Begum Ka Takia, directed by Ranjit Kapoor was the next show of the festival. It was performed by NSD Repertory Company, New Delhi. It was followed by Infinite Stupidity. The concept and design was done by Ashwath Bhatt. It was performed by Theatre Garage, New Delhi. Comrade Kumbhkaran, directed by Mohit Takalkar and performed by NSD Repertory Company, New Delhi was the next show of the festival.

The spellbinding effect of the festival went on with Jaat Hi Puchho Sadhu Ki, directed by Rajinder Nath and performed by NSD Repertory Company, New Delhi. It was followed by The Post Office, written by Rabindra Nath Tagore, directed by Pravin Shekhar and performed by the artists of Dr. Brijeshwar Singh’s repertory Rang Vinayak Rang Mandal, Bareilly. The show received appreciation from different sections of the society.

Chekhov Ki Duniya, directed by Ranjit Kapoor and performed by NSD Repertory Company, New Delhi was the next play. The festival culminated with Adamjaat & Panch Light, directed by Ranjit Kapoor and performed by the artists of the NSD Repertory Company, New Delhi.
