This edition was the richest of all the festivals organized at Windermere Theatre so far. No less than 14 plays were staged in the festival. It started with Janpath Kiss by playwright Ranjeet Kapoor. The play was directed by Ranjeet Kapoor and performed by Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts, New Delhi.
Chainpur Ki Dastaan by Ranjeet Kapoor was the second show of the festival. It was directed by Hema Singh and performed by Rang Vinayak Rangmandal, Bareilly. The next play of the festival was Aatmakatha by playwright Mahesh Elkunchwar. Vinay Sharma directed the play. It was performed by Padatik from Kolkata.
A Kind of True Story was the next show. It is written by B. Gauri and Rahul Bagga and directed by Kalyani Hiwale. The play was performed by Actors Cult, Mumbai. Ghar Wapsi , written by Rajesh Kumar and directed by Manish Muni was the next show. It was performed by Vimarsh Theatre Group, Shahjahanpur. It was followed by To kill or not to kill, written by Shakespeare & Euripides was the next show of the festival. It was directed by Ovlykuli Khodjakuli and performed by Arnav Arts, New Delhi.
Rocky ka Insaaf, written and directed by Ashwani K. Chakre was the next show. It was performed by Mashaal, Bengaluru.
Ek Mulaqat Manto Se, written by Saadat Hasan Manto and directed by Ashwath Bhatt was the next show. It was performed by Theatre Garage, New Delhi.
It was followed by Poster, written by Shankar Shesh and directed by Ambuj Kukreti. The show was performed by the artists of Dr. Brijeshwar Singh’s repertory Rang Vinayak Rangmandal, Bareilly. Ma Mujhe Tagore Bana De, enacted, designed, written and conceived by Lucky Gupta was the next show of the festival. It was followed by Romeo Juliet. The play was adapted and directed by Gaurav Sharma. It was performed by Abhang, New Delhi.
The next play of the festival was Outsider, written and directed by Gauri Dutt. It was performed by D for Drama, Mumbai. It was followed by Jeevit Ya Mrit, written by Geetanjali Shree and directed by Anuradha Kapur. It was performed by Vivadi Cultural Society, New Delhi. The festival culminated with Bidesia, written by Bhikhari Thakur and directed by Sanjay Upadhyay. It was performed by Nirmaan Kala Manch, Patna.
