Windermere Theatre Grant

We are offering Grant to theatre enthusiasts

In this inaugural year, Windermere Theatre Grant (WTG) will fund a total of 5 plays. A sum of 75 thousand rupees will be granted for non-musical plays. In case of a musical, the grant will be 1 Lac rupees. The play must have a minimum of 3 actors on stage, and the total number of cast and crew should not exceed 10 people.

What we are Providing

A total of 5 plays will be funded through the Windermere Theatre Grant every year

A sum of 75 thousand rupees will be granted for non-musical plays.

In case of a musical play, the grant will be of 1 Lac rupees.

The play must have at least 3 actors on stage.

The total number of cast and crew should not exceed 10 people.

The repertories will have to create and rehearse the play at their respective locations.

Important Points

The administrative body of Windermere Theatre Grant will be the final authority to shortlist and finally select the plays for the grant.

The production credits will be in the names of the repertory and Windermere Theatre.

Rules Related to Shows at Windermere theatre Bareilly

The repertory will stage 3 to 4 shows (over a period of one year) at Windermere Theatre, Bareilly

One more show will be staged at the Annual Windermere Theatre Festival, Bareilly

Windermere Theatre will make arrangements for travel, stay (maximum 7 days) and meals for the repertory

No fees will be paid for the shows staged at Windermere Theatre, Bareilly

Rules Related to Shows at other places

The repertory can stage single shows and also participate in theatre festivals across the globe

The repertory will share the production credits with Windermere Theatre in the form of the logo(s) of Rang Vinayak Rangmandal and Windermere Arts India

Windermere Theatre will not provide for travel, stay and meals
